Living Waters Children's Education Program

Living Waters is a weekly opportunity for three-year-olds through fifth-graders to dip into the living water found in Jesus, the church community, and friends.

The Living Waters Preschool class meets in the PMO education wing. Living Waters 345 for children ages 3 through 5 uses LiFE, a curriculum that focuses on spiritual nurture and growth with simple themes rooted in Biblical stories, like: God’s love and care for us, God’s gift of Jesus, our response of thanks and obedience, etc.

In Living Waters for Kindergarten through fifth grade, groups of children rotate to a different workshop each week, following the same story over a period of 3-6 weeks. A yearly theme creates connections between the stories.

Registration cards for Living Waters can be printed from here.

We meet and close in the Gathering Room at the top of the stairs each week. Parents sign in and sign out in the gathering room.

In each rotation, children experience the same lesson, taught using one or more "intelligences."  Children experience the Bible story through many different workshops over the course of each rotation.

We incorporate elements of drama, puppetry, cooking, storytelling, missions, computers, theater, art, science, music, games, personal reflection, and movement into various rotations.

Living Waters has moved to the new "Education Hour" between the services so that everyone has an opportunity to participate in education at MSPC! From 10:00 to 10:50 children can be dropped off in the Gathering Room, which gives parents time to get to their classes. All Sunday school classes are from 9:45 to 10:30. Children should be signed out by 10:50 to give teachers time to make their way to the sanctuary.
